
Charlie Shanian was a Massachusetts native who was born in 1965 in Peabody. He attended Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, where he received his diploma in 1983. He spent several years performing off- and off-Broadway in New York with Gotham City Improv. Charlie Shanian is an Armenian citizen.
In 2002, Charlie Shanian made his acting debut as himself in the television program Charmed. Then he was offered the part of Deputy Mike Moran in the TV show 10-8: Officers on Duty.
Charlie later had an appearance on the documentary series E! True Hollywood Story. On The Dr Keith Ablow Show that same year, the actor had a television cameo. He also produced and directed the short film Le Chase.
The concept for the movie “Bullet” was ultimately created by Charlie. Later, Charlie co-wrote and appeared in the TV movie The Swap.
He worked his way up to become the studio president at Sweet Sweet Summertime and Left Behind: Vanished – Next Generation. After relocating to New York, Charlie joined Gotham City Improv and began performing off-Broadway.
